Join UCA and others from the cultural industry at the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre for a performance of “Souvenir”. We will attend the Informance at 6:30 pm to learn more about the plot and then enjoy the show at 7:30 pm. During intermission, we will gather on the rooftop for refreshments. There are limited spots for this event so don’t wait to register! UFOMT has graciously offered free tickets for UCA Members and a 50% discount for those wishing to bring guests.

About the show: In a Greenwich Village supper club in 1964, Cosmé McMoon flashes back to the musical career of Florence Foster Jenkins, a wealthy socialite with a famously uncertain sense of pitch and key. In 1932, she meets mediocre pianist Cosmé McMoon, and over the next dozen years, their bizarre partnership yields hilariously off-key recitals that become the talk of New York City. The play culminates in a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall in 1944 where McMoon has an epiphany and finally understands the transcendent power of music.
