Dear Valued Members & Supporters,

The Kimball Art Center is blooming in May with two new community events and we invite you to join us - a Mother’s Day Ceramics Sale and a Monster Drawing Rally.
The Mother’s Day Sale will be hosted in our Kimball Clay Studio and feature the work of our many talented studio members and instructors. With handbuilt and wheel thrown pieces, you are bound to find something any Mom would love. Sales like these are often the only time many of our studio members sell their work. Swing by May 12 and 13 to purchase a one-of-a-kind gift that supports a local artist and the Kimball Art Center.
Next, mark your calendar for June 1 and get ready for an entertaining and high-energy evening! Inspired by a San Francisco-based Southern Exposure event, Monster Drawing Rally, presented by both the Kimball Art Center and Park City Summit County Arts Council, is a live drawing event and party that allows spectators to spy on the creative process, build relationships with local artists and grow their art collections. Over the course of the night, artists take shifts drawing and making artwork in 50-minute timed sessions. Sketches turn into finished pieces and are immediately available for purchase for $50 each. Finished works will include a variety of mediums so there is sure to be something for everyone.
We hope to see you for these two new and exciting events that celebrate art and artists in our community.
Happy Creating,
Kimball Art Center
