[DE]COMPOSITION
Photographs by Doug Tolman

Tolman's work is a collection of silver gelatin prints made from 35mm film negatives captured over the last 18 months. The minimal compositions contain windows and doors of abandoned structures in Utah, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

"This series examines buildings which were once thriving centers of growth as they decay back into the environment they intruded on," says Tolman.
