The Orem Arts Council Summer Concert Series will host popular favorite Good Bones on Monday, July 29, at the Stage at City Center Park. Please bring your own chairs and blankets. Bring a picnic or purchase food, drinks, snacks, and desserts from local food trucks from The Food Truck League. Good Bones is a 60s-styled rock and roll band, playing cover songs and originals. The members of this guitar-bass-drums trio have been playing in various rock bands in the Salt Lake area for over 25 years. They have lately united to perform their brand of garage rock for rock and roll people, wherever they may be. Members include: Clarence McBride/percussion and citrus; Dean Shupe/bass and shag carpet; Shena Switzer/guitar and feline ferocity; Christopher Moore/guitar and extra sensory perception. Their influences are 1910s Ragtime, 1920s Jazz, 1930s Blues, 1940s Country, 1950s Rockabilly, 1960s Garage Rock, 1970s Glam Rock, 1980s New Wave, 1990s Alternative Rock, 2000s Indie Rock. This event is sponsored by the Orem Arts Council with funding from the City of Orem and the Utah Department of Heritage and Arts.
