Aerial Arts of Utah returns to the main stage to present their eighth annual Flight of Fancy performance on September 27th & 28th.  This soaring mystical world will feature high-flying acts of beauty and strength on aerial fabrics, trapeze, rope and more!   Magic abounds in our fairytale fantasy as witches, unicorns, mermaids and creatures that lurk in the woods weave an enchanting storybook tale. Aerialists push the limits of their apparatus and their bodies, transporting the audience to places where the confines of physics don’t seem to exist. Aerial Arts company members are elevated to impossible heights, defying gravity while dancing in the air. Reality melts away and imagination takes flight!  Formed in 2010, Aerial Arts of Utah is both a school and a performance company. Performances over the years have included many public and private events, notably Utah Arts Fest, Thanksgiving Point, Utah Cultural Celebration Center, The Leonardo, Sugarspace Arts Warehouse and Utah Valley University. Aerial Arts of Utah had such an eager response to last year’s Flight of Fancy that Production Director, Anne Kocherhans, has added a matinee on the 28th in addition to the evening shows at the Rose Wagner Black Box Theater this year.  Run time: 100 minutes including a 15 minute intermission. Recommended for ages 8 and up. No babes-in-arms. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age.
