Over the past year the students in our Loud & Clear Audio programs (Musicology, Resonate and Loud & Clear Youth Radio) have written original music, created beats, produced radio plays and performed live shows. Resonate Hip Hip students formed the band Daylight Hooligans, and have created beats and learned how to use hip hop as a vehicle for personal expression. Loud & Clear Youth Radio students have DJ’d over 50 shows on 90.9 FM KRCL, playing music and discussing topics that interest them. Paper Planes, the Musicology band, is finishing up their original album and will headline at Heatwave.
