Dear Valued Members & Supporters,
The Park City Kimball Arts Festival seems like it happened just last week, but we are already gearing up for next year! November 1 marks the opening of our Call for Artists for next year’s Festival, which will be the 49th annual. If you are an artist, I encourage you to apply or share it with those who might be interested. All applications are vetted by a blind jury that changes each year. Artist applications are due by March 1, 2018
November also brings us Thanksgiving. I wanted to take a moment to express how grateful I am to have been so warmly welcomed into the Park City community in July. Now it’s time for me, and you, to support our amazing community during Live PC Give PC. On November 10, I encourage you to give to the Kimball Art Center and other Park City nonprofits that make our mountain town so special and vibrant!
Finally, this is the last month to see Jimmi Toro: Kindle a Light. Make sure you come by our Main Gallery and Cafe Gallery to see his powerful and unique artwork.
From all of us at the Kimball, have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and thank you for your continued support.
Happy Creating,
Lindsie Smith

Kindle a Light is a unique opportunity to view the creative process. In this interwoven exhibition, each piece inspires the other—a song creates a visual image, a painting comes to life in video. Sight and sound combine, creating a new connection between artist and viewer. It is a complete immersion in the intrepid and thoughtful mind of Jimmi Toro, shedding a brilliant new light on the darkness of mere being.
