DTH Festival Film Highlights

Jeanné Wagner Theatre - Rose Wagner

A group of around 15 people is summoned by phone messages to attend a surprise party/orgy. Despite the fact that almost everyone has come along to have a good time, deep down, they long to make up for their shortcomings and mend their broken hearts.

Saturday, July 15 @ 2:30 PM

Black Box Theater - Rose Wagner

Post-film Q&A  with director Dante Alencastre and the subject's mom, Ofelia Barba, in attendance.

Raising Zoey depicts an eventful year in the life of transgender 13 year old girl, Zoey Luna, her mom, Ofelia and her older sister, Letty. Zoey, with the help of her mother and the ACLU, fought school officials for her right to self-identify in school, and helped others persevere in living their authentic lives.

Sunday, July 16 @ 12:30 PM

Black Box Theatre – Rose Wagner

Taiwanese fiilmmaker Hui-chen Huang knows her mother is a lesbian, but just about nothing else about her.
