What We Are
We are three affiliated organizations serving the humanities and arts: Utah Cultural Alliance (a 501c4), Utahns for Culture (501c3), and Utah Arts and Cultural Coalition (a 501c3).
What We Do
Our 501c4 (Utah Cultural Alliance) enables us to
mobilize voters in support of culture, lobby state and
municipal lawmakers, and elect lawmakers friendly to
culture. Through this fund, we are also able to lobby
for public funding in support of culture as well as
draft and promote legislation that supports the
cultural sector such as expanding arts and humanities
education, protecting consumers from scalpers,
regulations harmful to the creative sector, and more.

Our two 501c3s (Utahns for Culture and
nowplayingutah.com) work to make sure all Utahns
know about the importance of the humanities and arts
and how they can experience culture for themselves!
We collect data measuring the benefits of culture,
promote individuals and organizations in the cultural
sector through mapping, provide career development,
and with nowplayingutah.com, provide a one-stop
guide to all things cultural happening in Utah.
