Answer: "The arts have always been a part of my life inspiring me to value creativity and personal artistic expression. Growing up, my mother had an arts and crafts room and encouraged me to create Mexican party favors and gifts for friends and family. In college, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography and Film and later completed a certification in Graphic Design from Salt Lake Community. Currently, I work and teach art with Clever Octopus Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering creativity and environmental awareness through art, science, technology, engineering, and math."

Answer: I have lived in Murray for years and one of the great things about my city is our vibrant and active arts culture. Residents take pride in their local arts scene - from plays and musicals at the Murray Amphitheater to attending performances by our local Murray symphony. Programs like these enhance my community and make an immeasurable difference to residents' quality of life. I would like to continue to support our local arts council by sustaining its ongoing projects with local artists, the Murray theater campaign, and continued growth of art programs within the Murray School District and non-profits like Clever Octopus.
