In a press conference on Tuesday, February 1, Utah Cultural Alliance (UCA), alongside co-publishers Utah Division of Arts & Museums (UA&M) and Salt Lake County Arts & Culture (SLCo Arts & Culture), released the Cultural Industry Economic Impact Report. Senate President Stuart Adams, Speaker of the House Brad Wilson, Vicki Bourns, Director of UA&M, Matt Castillo, Division Director of SLCo Arts & Culture, and Crystal Young, Executive Director of UCA spoke on how the cultural industry contributes to Utah's economy. This includes new statistics on jobs growth, sales, sales tax revenue, and other metrics generated by cultural businesses.
