Throughout school, I always looked forward to my arts classes as a way to express myself. I was involved with musical productions, drama, and visual arts classes during jr high and high school. Everywhere we look, art impacts our lives. We need to have the arts and humanities supported in our schools. Art is what brings us together as a society. As I have taught school, I see that students who are involved in art do better academically. Art is a universal language that allows us to communicate, laugh, and think together.
