Craft Lake City and Hip & Humble Presents: Cut-Glass Bottle Planter Workshop with Terry Ulanch of Drunken Treasures

Salt Lake City, July 13 – Craft Lake City and local boutique Hip & Humble present the July Cut-Glass Bottle Planter Workshop with Terry Ulanch of Drunken Treasures. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 19, at Hip & Humble (1043 E. 900 S.) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Terry Ulanch started Drunken Treasures to explore his hobby of cutting bottles and creating interesting conversation pieces. Ulanch is a first-year DIY Festival participant with an eye for design and passion for fun. Using recycled materials, Ulanch creates cut-bottle planters, herb keepers, cheese trays and slumped bottle pieces.

“I’m so proud to be chosen to be the in the DIY Festival and even more excited to be instructing this workshop,” says Ulanch. “Craft Lake City provides great programming, and it is a dream come true to be a part of the magic this year.”

Craft Lake City is excited to partner with Hip & Humble for this workshop, which aims to compel participants of all skillsets to indulge in their creative sides to produce art and stylized home accoutrements.

At this workshop, participants will learn how to safely score and cut glass wine bottles, and finish them into a one-of-a-kind planter for their home.
