Answer: I love learning about different people and cultures, and the arts give me the ability to see the world through the eyes of someone else. By learning how others have faced their ups and downs, I feel that I am better able to make the right decisions when choices are placed before me.

Utah's humanities and arts employ 112,000 Utahns, provide $4 billion in earnings, and $16 billion in sales. This is a larger economic impact than agriculture, mining, and real estate. Do you consider the arts and cultural sector an economic driver in Utah?

Anything else you'd like us to know about you?
Answer: By providing line items in our government budgets to secure financial assistance to places such as our zoos, theaters, and museums, it lowers the cost that is placed on our residents and visitors and makes these places accessible to more people, and is able to provide more inspiration to more minds. Having works of art out in the view of the public, makes people happier, and makes people want to get out more and be proud of their communities.
