MVHS Football Season Opener involves Youth ages 1st to 8th grade to participate in our Youth Fitness Competition & Award Ceremony, followed by watching High School Scrimmage Games! This event is hosts special guests, and helps the team raise money.

Join MVHS Bruin Nation as we celebrate MV Football with our MVHS Alumni's!!! Youth grades 1st to 8th will be able to participate in our Fitness Stations for a chance to see who is the best and win awards! Afterwards, our MV Football Bruins will play scrimmages as we get ready to start our season!! Special Guests who all graduated from MVHS will be attending the event! Guest Speaker, Ifo Pili - Bio - Ifo Pili – MVHS Class of 1997 - attended BYU on a football scholarship, played in the National Football League for several teams, including the Superbowl XXXIX Philadelphia Eagles. Ifo is currently the City Administrator for Eagle Mountain City and the District Administrator for the Unified Fire Service Area. Guest Announcer, Jake Hatch - Bio - Jake Hatch, MVHS Class of 2005, producer and sports announcer on The Zone Sports Network (97.5-FM & 1280-AM) and Cougar Sports 960. He also hosts the daily BYU-centric podcast called “Locked On Cougars” on the Locked On Podcast Network. Guest Announcer, Sam Farnsworth - Bio - Sam Farnsworth (MVHS Class of ‘96) has been an Sports Anchor/Reporter for the past 13 years in Colorado where he covered the Denver Broncos on a weekly basis and now works for his dream job as a Sports Anchor for KSL TV Sports. This event is one way we fund raise to support our team program. Requests for $5/Individual, or $20/Family at the gate, is greatly appreciated!
