May 21, 2021 | 6:00-7:30 pm
SCERA Center for the Arts
745 S State St, Orem, UT 84058

Join us for a special viewing of the Beloved Community Project film, a documentary focused on Dr. Martin Luther King’s articulation of the Beloved Community in that it is possible to create civil, equitable, and harmonious communities through non-violent social change. The Beloved Community Project–through film, storytelling, history, current events, and movement–addresses global issues with local relevance and asks what each of us can do for change.

After the film screening, there will be a panel discussion with co-creators Marian Howe-Taylor and Amy MacDonald along with film participants Reverend France A. Davis, Deja Gaston, Barbara Beard White, Mother Daisy Eason, and Dr. Tashelle B. Wright.

To ensure the safety of staff and attendees masks are required. Participants may also choose to maintain physical distance in the venue. Please stay home if you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. You may also choose to participate virtually.
