Learn to create functional works of art on the potter's wheel This course is for students who are new to wheel throwing as well as those with some experience who would like to improve their fundamental wheel throwing techniques and skills. Topics to be covered in the course include, but are not limited to- wedging, centering, cylinders, bowls, trimming, handles, and surface decoration. The course will also focus on the fundamentals of glazing through various techniques and testing/experimentation.
