Ask your U.S. Senators to Cosponsor the CREATE Act

Dear Utah

On Arts Advocacy Day this past March, Sen. Tom Udall (D-NM) announced new legislation to strengthen the creative economy.

Entitled the Comprehensive Resources for Entrepreneurs in the Arts to Transform the Economy (CREATE) Act(S.2648), the bill aims to better support our nation's creative economy and the artist entrepreneur!

We need you to help advance the CREATE Act! This week is the beginning of a "lame-duck" legislative session and is a key time to reach your Senators' staff members to ask your Senator add their name as a cosponsor to the CREATE Act. Take two minutes now to urge your Senator to cosponsor this legislation.

To learn more about the bill and its provisions, check out our CREATE Act website for more information, the complete bill text, and a webinarfeaturing Sen. Tom Udall's office and Americans for the Arts President & CEO Bob Lynch.

P.S. Have you taken two minutes to fill out our quick 11-question survey yet? Your responses will help us better serve you and your interests as an arts advocate.
