The Division of State History is working with the Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs, Representative Steve Handy, and others to highlight World War I commemorative events over the next 18 months around the state. Please let us know if you are aware of any events that we can post on a website calendar.

 

We need the date, time, location, cost (if any), and a brief description of any event.

 

We will kick off this statewide WWI commemorative effort on April 6, 2017 at the state capitol. As details are finalized for this event, we will let you know. We can promise a brass band, inspiring speakers, historic artifacts, and a moving experience on April 6^th.
