Fudyma’s series explores moments of synchronicity—a term first coined by Carl Jung as a way to define meaningful coincidences. What causes these events to happen is unexplainable, but some describe them as religious phenomenon, signs from the universe, paranormal activity, or a subconscious connection. Often, these palpable experiences connect unrelated thoughts, objects, and energy, in a way that creates a deep meaningful experience. In Synchronicity Space, ethereal lines and shapes that shift in and out of focus, seemingly bubbling up from the surface below, create a sense of depth within the paintings. These movements visualize these moments of synchronicity, for Fudyma, in a way that mirrors the inner, energetic, emotional world that such experiences create.
