Culture Bytes is a semi monthly seminar organized by the Utah Cultural Alliance and Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP). They are one hour and held Wednesdays at noon at the Utah Arts Alliance’s Art Hub in Salt Lake City (663 W 100 S). Lunch is served. This community driven conversation will discuss the highs and lows of crowdfunding. Discuss questions such as: is it worth your time? Does it work? What to do? Pitfalls to avoid? Which platforms are best?

Community conversations is a new style of Culture Bytes! This type of Culture Bytes will allow community members to join in and contribute to the conversation.

ZAP partners with Utah Cultural Alliance in a Brown Bag Series Make-Over
Familiar with the saying Two heads are better than one? We are. UCA and Salt Lake Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP) are giving our Culture Bytes series and their Brown Bag Series a make-over by merging the two for 2014! Why the change? Simply put: (1) many of our participants overlap (2) we are looking for ways to maximize resources, while minimizing duplication of effort and (3) we hope to create even more off the hook opportunities for networking!
