MARCH 24, 2020: We are postponing live performances, all movies in the Clarke Grand Theatre and all arts education classes until state guidelines tell us it is safe to congregate again. At that point, we will make further decisions on if and when rescheduling is possible. ***** Parents and teens can spend time together and learn a new skill! This class focuses primarily on throwing clay on the wheel, and students will learn how to center the clay, beginning with basic pots and progressing into more complex pieces. Students who have taken pottery before will start with basic bowls and mugs, and advance to more difficult pieces quickly. Students will also learn how to glaze their pieces and come to understand the process of firing clay. NOTE: Both parent and teen must register and pay.
