Utah Native American Artists Exhibition

Utah’s Native Artists in Exhibition features traditional and contemporary works by Native American artists with Utah ties. The exhibition presents an exciting mix of subject matter, mediums, and forms, and features Utah’s emerging Native artists as well as more recognized and accomplished artists. Exhibition themes draw upon traditional art forms of the region, like Navajo rug or basket weaving, but also showcase more contemporary perspectives expressed through forms such as sculpture, watercolor, and photography. The resulting exhibition invites the viewer to understand the complexity of the Native experience through both historic and modern lenses.  The show is curated in collaboration with local community members Dru Drury and Gary Swenson.
