Navajo Nation Reservation Robotics Team Made it To Nationals!

Help us cheer on Team 6546 Naatsis'aan (English translation: Navajo) who made a robot from scrap metal and wood, won the Rookie All Star Award at the Idaho robotics regional competition that granted them a spot at Nationals and raised enough funds to travel this week to Texas to compete for the gold!

While making plans to visit San Juan School District next fall through the POPS program, our education team came across this group of exceptional teachers and students who, under teacher Daniel Conrad and Principal Gary Rock, are planting the Navajo nation firmly on the STEM map. We love these stories and our fingers are crossed. This just might be Utah's local version of Underwater Dreams.
