Science Movie Night at Salt Lake Arts Academy

Families poured into the Salt Lake Arts Academy (SLAA) last Tuesday for a private school screening of SlingShot (a film that focuses on inventor Dean Kamen and his 15-year quest to solve the world's safe water crisis) and ensuing Q&A with University of Utah water engineer, Dr. Steve Burian

SLAA Principal and Founder Amy Wadsworth opened up the doors after dark bringing Science Movie Night to the school community. The evening culminated with a grand toast acknowledging access for every person on this planet to clean, potable water as something we all should strive for.
