CLAY CUPS:
Craftsmanship & Design

$180 + $25 clay and firing fee.
For adults ages 17+.
Master the art of the cup in this four week workshop. This beginners course will include the fundamental techniques for hand building and glazing. Class time will be devoted to demonstrations, discussions, and work time. Acquiring skill in hand building and glazing are primary goals. Craftsmanship and design basics will also be a focus for students. Visual awareness, problem solving, aesthetic development, and an enhanced appreciation of the visual arts are additional goals that can be achieved during this fundamental, skill building class! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10-12 days after class has ended.

POTTERY PALS
FOR TOTS

For tots ages 3-5.
Spring into creativity and invite students to experiment with clay texture and shapes as they learn basic clay building skills. Students will be introduced to coils, pinch pots and slabs as they hand build fun figures from their imagination. Each class will focus on a different technique, and students will have the opportunity to paint and glaze their mini masterpieces! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10-12 days after class has ended.

AT YOUR OWN PACE POTTERY
Wednesdays, January 11, 18, 25; February 1
9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
With Juanita Marshall
$200 + $25 clay and firing fee.
For adults ages 17+.
Work at your own pace in Kimball Clay Studios on Wednesday mornings. Juanita will lead you in a series of skill-building practices that will help you improve your ceramic techniques, allowing you to continue learning the joys of working with clay. The basic skills of pottery making will be taught through step-by-step instruction in clay preparation, throwing on the wheel, trimming, and the firing process. Time permitting, Juanita will also go over glazing and surfacing techniques. We will bisque fire and glaze successful work. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10-12 days after class has ended.

MATCHBOX WEAVING FOR KIDS
Friday, January 13
3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
With Kylie Millward
$35. Materials included.
For kids ages 6-10.
Students will learn the basics of weaving, then will apply their knowledge to creating a miniature weaving inside of a matchbox. Kids will learn how to use the mini matchboxes as our looms to create cute lil' weavings!
