Salt Lake City Public Library, Main Library Auditorium

Creativity takes place across a broad spectrum of places, spaces, and art forms. Join us for this presentation and Q&A with Stephen Goldsmith—artist, University of Utah associate professor, director of the Center for the Living City, founder of Artspace Utah, and former planning director for Salt Lake City. His practice includes sculpture, idea art, landscape design, shaping public policy, and restoration and preservation of places we care about.
The UMFA’s ARTLandish: Land Art, Landscape, and the Environment series features talks, films, meet-ups, and more that explore our complex relationship with the world around us. Presenting sponsor is S. J. and Jessie E. Quinney Foundation. Community partners are Salt Lake City Public Library and the College of Fine Arts and J. Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah.
