Invest in Success

American Express and the Community Foundation of Utah are committed to the success of Utah’s nonprofit organizations. As part of our ongoing efforts to offer programs, funding, and other resources to the nonprofit community, we are hosting Invest in Success, an intensive leadership training that provides participants with resources to achieve extraordinary performance. 
Invest in Success is specifically designed for leaders of rural ​nonprofit ​organizations. As many as six organizations will be chosen to participate in the 2017 program. For more details about the Invest in Success program, please click here. To apply for the program, please click here.

Applications are due to the Community Foundation of Utah no later than 11:59 p.m. MDT on June ​26, 2017 and the program will take place from ​August ​21 to ​August 24​, 2017.

Grant Applications Due June 30th
 
Do you serve the LGBTQ community in Utah? You may be eligible to receive funding!

The LGBTQ Community Endowment Fund got its start in 2012, with a $50,000 challenge grant to help establish a transitional home for young men living on the street, 40% or more of whom identify as gay or transgender. In 2013 the fund committee formalized a competitive grantmaking process, making $25,000 in grants to further the work of agencies across Utah working for equality.

Utah Ethical Leadership Awards 2017
 
The fourth annual Utah Ethical Leadership Awards program is now underway to recognize and support the ethical leadership of organizations in the state of Utah. Applications for businesses, government entities, and nonprofit organizations are open now through July 21, 2017.

The awards are designed to recognize organizations that embody the spirit of ethical leadership exhibited by Bill Daniels, a founder of the modern cable industry and former owner of the Utah Stars. Bill Daniels believed deeply in ethics and integrity, and in the importance of absolute ethical principles, which earned him great respect throughout the business world. The awards program is sponsored by the Daniels Fund, the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative at the David Eccles School of Business, the Community Foundation of UtahUtah Business Magazine, and the Center for Public Policy and Administration at the University of Utah.

EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Gala
We are a proud sponsor of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, a program hosted by Ernst & Young LLP to celebrate the dynamic entrepreneurs who are propelling forward toward a brighter future for us all.
