Family Art Day at the Merrill-Cazier Library
Saturday, October 28th, 2017
11:00am-2:00pm

The theme for October’s Family Art Day is “Telling a Spooky Story –With Art!” We will create Halloween-themed silhouette images using tints and shades, brought to you by the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA). This event has been created to coincide with the Merrill-Cazier Library’s exhibition “Memento Mori: The Art of Death and Mourning.” This exhibition features artistic iconographies surrounding the themes of death and dying. Although Halloween is approaching, never fear, NEHMA and Merrill-Cazier staff will work to keep October’s programming family-friendly for all ages!
