Upcoming Workshop: Museum Volunteer Training and Management
When: Wednesday, March 15, 2017 & Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 Where: Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA), Cedar City
This two-part workshop series will provide training to museum staff, volunteer, and volunteer coordinators on effective volunteer management and recruiting. Upon completion of the program, participants can expect to assess volunteer needs and match them with the goals of the museum in addition to developing relevant volunteer roles and opportunities to address critical needs at your museum. Become a Grant Panelist Ever wondered what it's like to serve on a UDAM Grants Panel? All our agency's grants are reviewed by a community committee; panelists get to learn about the great museums, arts organizations, schools, and folk artists that call Utah home. While serving on a grant panel, you will get to meet others who are invested in supporting Utah’s vibrant museum and arts community while learning how our grants process works.
