Professional Development Support
The Division of Arts & Museums now offers professional development support for key board members, staff, or volunteers to attend training and workshops. Scholarship requests must be received as part of an application, found here. We will reimburse approved applications up to $200 for the cost of registration for these trainings.
Upcoming Workshop--SAVE THE DATE!
Join us for a full day, hands-on workshop on Monday, September 25th at the Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts. Attendees will learn to the basics on how to mat and frame 2-dimensional objects while keeping your museum objects safe. Registration is limited to 10 people. Click here for details. 
Preservation Assessment Available
The Office of Museum Services offers Preservation Assessments is offering assessments to museums on a first come, first serve basis. Assessments include a site visit and thorough report on collections recommendations from the Museum Services Manager.

Museum Certification now lasts for five years from your certification application. Certification allows for your museum to apply to our museum grants and have access to a discounted Charitable Solicitations Permit.
