Hello Members!
It was a pleasure to see so many of you at Arts Advocacy Day, and to be hearing from so many of you about the work you’re doing in response to legislative and executive actions over the last couple of months.

We want to remind you that a member-exclusive resource that we developed in response to your feedback is coming up this week:

Our Member Briefing series launches on March 23rd with a 3pm call about AFTA’s Strategy for Defending the NEA.

Please join me and Narric Rome – our Vice President of Government Affairs and Arts Education – in conversation about AFTA’s long-term strategy to keep both federal and grassroots momentum going over the next few months. In addition to our overview, we’ll be taking your questions live, so I hope you’ll head over to ArtsU to register and join us on the call this Thursday!

Please also save the date for our Member Briefing about Arts, Jobs, and the Economy on March 29th at 3pm – Narric and I will be joined on that call by Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy.

In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or suggestions. Please encourage your friends and colleagues to become members for as little as $30, if they’re interested in being a part of these Briefings – and be sure to keep checking our Arts Mobilization Center regularly.

Thank you for being a part of our member network; we couldn’t do what we do without all of you!

Sincerely,
