Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company seeks a Booking Manager who will advance our mission to bring dance to all communities by securing touring opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.  This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a small, dynamic, nationally renowned dance company. You will work closely with local, national and international presenting organizations, in addition to educators and government entities. Organization: Established in 1964, the Company works to further contemporary dance as an accessible and valued art form, through performances of original and commissioned works, and dance education for all ages. Ririe-Woodbury serves more than 65,000 artists and audience members each year.

Responsibilities:  This position offers a variety of responsibilities, including: securing performances and residencies in Utah, nationally and internationally; coordinating performances and residency activities; developing marketing materials related to booking, which includes social media, print and video; coordinating logistics for tours and incoming artists; negotiating contracts; maintaining yearly calendars; attending national conferences; and assisting with home season performances.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years marketing and/or sales experience; a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communications or applicable liberal arts field appreciated; strong planning and multitasking skills; writing skills a must; sales experience; able to cultivate professional relationships over a long period of time; self motivator; computer proficiency in all MS Office applications, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; experience with social media; and the ability and willingness to work on a variety of projects in a small group with overlapping responsibilities.
