Wednesday, 13 September, 7:00 pm Ogden’s Union Station. This is a free, all-ages event.

Jazz at the Station will present The WSU Alumni Jazz Combo in a free, all-ages concert on Ogden’s Union Station Plaza, Wednesday, 13 September, at 7pm. The Combo includes David Bertram, trumpet, Spencer Howe, bass, Gordon Greenwood, guitar, Casey Wood, keyboard, Don Keipp, percussion. All are WSU alumni who have performed with the WSU Jazz Ensemble in the past, including Dr. Don Keipp, who was their ensemble director for many years. He retired in 2012.

This event is partnered with the WSU Alumni Association and their WSU Homecoming events. Alumni of the WSU Bands program, which includes the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, are invited to attend the concert and meet for a reception in the Grand Lobby immediately following the performance

Children are welcome as long as they do not disturb the performers or other audience members. Come early to make sure you have a seat. Jazz at the Station usually performs for standing-room-only audiences.
