Dear Crystal,

Early Bird Registration for UNA’s Annual Conference  ends Friday, August  11.

In addition to including  Vu Le, as keynote speaker, the conference features 24 operationally focused break-out sessions. While I think that they are all important and meaningful, I wanted to take a moment and highlight a couple of sessions that you might find particualy useful.

·         The first is Driving Change with Data or in the words of Google's Eric Schmidt: "In God We Trust, All Others Must Bring Data.”  Daniel Hadley, Chief Data Scientist at the Sorensen Impact Center, is presenting this session. His focus will be on using administrative data to communicate evidence of your success.
·         And second, coupling this presentation with Katherine Fife’s, Beyond Thank You: Being Authentic While Strategic In Expressing Gratitude, which lays out a strategy for donor retention makes for a very nice one-two punch. You will leave having a strategy to better communicate your results and thank your donors.

We also have 24 other breakout sessions which will help you impact your organization. You can see all of them here

We encourage you to join us, bring your staff, and tell your friends about the conference – which you may think of as a conference of unicorns. Our keynote, Vu, sees nonprofit professionals as Unicorns: rare, real, heroic, and underpaid. Says Le, “We are like unicorns, imaginary creatures here to make the world better!” We could not agree more!

My best,

Jill
