Mask making and wearing provides an opportunity to explore different ways of being in the world. It can open you up to many different creative and fun roles. In this class we will play with a variety of mask making techniques and explore sources of inspiration from many cultures. Students will create their own mask using paper, paint, and a multitude of other materials. Participants can craft their masks to tie into a larger costume, or let this workshop be the inspiration for something entirely new.
