Creative Economy Grant Opportunity

Etsy, the global creative commerce platform, has announced their 2017 Marker Cities grant program.  This grant supports the research and implementation of programs that support the participation of marginalized groups in the creative economy, through a collaboration between multiple stakeholders including local government officials, Etsy sellers, and a locally-focused non-profit or educational institution.  Grants can focus on researching a topic related to the creative economy or an innovative program implementation.  Awards can go up to $60,000 over two years.  The deadline to submit applications is May 26, 2017.  For full grant requirements, the application, and details on past grant recipients, visit www.etsy.com/makercities.
