Our Family have season tickets and passes to most of the theaters and programs in the Salt Lake Valley. We have them for our children and grandchildren to give them experiences that will expand and broaden their lives. It has been great and a unifier of our family.

Yes

I have always voted to support such programs. The recreation, art, zoo and parks tax has been successful for over a decade. The funding to build the Eccles Theater

Question 4: Do you support Percent for Art programs, which designate 1% of public building costs for public art that are included within that building? Currently, only 8 Utah municipalities have such a program.

I am not sure how Sandy require the developers to decorate the buildings under construction or those who remodel. There are requirements for both interior and exterior enhancements. I favor that.

Yes

We have been involved with the arts with our children and grandchildren both in preforming in school as well as involvement in the theaters.

Would you support a RAP type tax such as this in your own municipality? If your municipality already has such a local option sales RAP-type sales tax and you support it, answer yes.

Hale Center Theater is locating in Sandy. We have the Sandy Arts Council which uses Mt. Jordan and we have the Sandy Amphitheater. We love our theaters!

Question 9: Municipal governments can create Cultural Districts - with or without tax incentives. Governments sometimes fund these via bed or tourism taxes within the Cultural District boundaries, but it can be done within municipal budgets fairly cheaply. Is this something you would support?
