Meet Literary Consultant, Nkenna Onwuzuruoha
Born in New Orleans to two Nigerian parents and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Nkenna is a first-generation American. She received her Bachelors in French and Comparative Literature at the University of Chicago and went on to receive a Masters in European Literatures from the University of Bristol (UK).
She has lived in Salt Lake City since 2011 and currently teaches at Salt Lake Community College and Westminster College as an adjunct instructor. In addition to working for these two institutions, Nkenna is also the outreach coordinator for Write Here—South Salt Lake’s community-based writing center. Outside of work and reading groups, Nkenna enjoys cycling around town with friends, traveling, and attending community-oriented events.
