Everyone knows A.A. Milne as the creator of Winnie the Pooh, but few know of Milne’s more serious writing – which was considerable, though generally with a light touch. With excerpts from his contributions to Punch magazine, and other occasional essays, director Gordon Jones shows a different side of this insightful, creative, and thoughtful man. Always whimsical, Milne used humor to call attention to many of the niggling problems that plague and puzzle us yet today.
