OGDEN  After a knockout performance with the Luther Dickinson Trio at the Ogden Valley Roots & Blues Fest last August, Amy LaVere is coming back to Ogden to give fans another taste.

This time, the acclaimed singer, songwriter, upright bass player and actress will be joined by her husband, Will Sexton (respected artist, guitarist, songwriter and producer with deep roots in the Austin, TX music scene) to grace the stage at Peery's Egyptian Theater. Join OFOAM in welcoming these dynamic performers to Ogden City for the first time.

LaVere will perform songs from all her records, and a few of Sexton’s as well. When it comes down to choosing the setlist and what hits make the cut, LaVere said the vibe of the venue has a lot to do with it.

“We usually choose the setlist that night, based on what’s inspiring just in that moment, and what’s honest to me that night,” LaVere says. “A performance in a theater setting is going to be much more intimate than a festival, a wildly different set of feelings.”

The concert will begin at 7 p.m., tickets are $18 for adults, kids 16 and under are always free to every OFOAM event. Visit OFOAM.org or Facebook.com/OFOAM for tickets and information. After the Ogden concert, OFOAM is proud to bring LaVere and Sexton back to the 10th annual Ogden Music Festival in June. Ticketing information can be found at OFOAM.org.
