What: The Adrian Maxson Day of service, as part of the Weber State Service Day of Remembrance, at the Ogden Nature Center is a day for DaVinci Academy students to honor the life of Adrian Maxson, an early-college student who was attending both DaVinci Academy and WSU when he was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident. Adrian Maxson was a humanitarian and had a passion for social justice issues, art and the outdoors. In his memory, the senior class at DaVinci Academy will be giving back to the community and participating in a day of service at the Ogden Nature Center for the sixth year in a row.
This year Adrian Maxson day features service activities to benefit the Ogden Nature Center, as well as educational presentations from the Weber State Sustainability Practices and Research Center (SPARC) and Weber State political science and philosophy professor, Dr. Leah Murray.
The Ogden Nature Center is located at 966 W. 12th Street in Ogden, Utah. More details can be found online at www.ogdennaturecenter.org<http://www.ogdennaturecenter.org> .
