ACME | Understanding Transgender:
A Discussion of Identity, Art, and Politics

Wednesday, November 9 | 7 pm* | FREE

The Salt Lake City Public Library
Fourth Floor Conference Room

There is a great deal of public confusion about what trans identity is and, just as importantly, what it is not. Looking at history, culture, and art we’ll examine popular beliefs about sex, sexuality, gender, and the role art museums and other public institutions might play to increase understanding.
