Centerville, UT – When you’re a working woman, fighting to get the top can
sometimes mean dealing with unsavory proposals and greasy pigs. CenterPoint
Theatre manages to bring all the humor, fun, and soul to this hilarious look at
climbing the corporate ladder, all while wearing high heels.

Judy is new to her job, little does she know that when she meets co-workers Violet
and Doralee that her life is going to take a turn for the crazy, zany, and downright
comical. Of course, when you are fighting against a boss who can only be described
as a selfish, lying, egotistical, bigot, how can it not? All aboard the kooky train as
these ladies sing and dance their way to the corner office on the top floor!

Directed by Maurie Tarbox, Musically Directed by Maurie Tarbox, and
Choreographed by Susan DeMill and played by 2 entertaining casts, this production
of “9 to 5” shows that with a little bit of lipstick, elbow grease, and a whole lot of
gumption, any woman can be anything she wants to be.
You are not going to want to miss a single second of this lively musical comedy.
Reserve your tickets by calling the box office at 801-298- 1302 or go online to
cptutah.org.
9 to 5 The Musical is sponsored by a generous donation by Workers Compensation
Fund.

Content Advisory
CenterPoint Legacy Theatre encourages you to read the script or view the 1980’s movie
version of 9 to 5 before purchasing a ticket if you are concerned with objectionable content.
The musical closely parallels the movie, which would likely be rated PG-13 today. 9 to 5 the
Musical deals humorously with bigoted and sexist attitudes within the workforce society. It
includes mild sexual innuendo and situations. Some characters occasionally use profanity
and there is a scene that depicts adult women drinking alcohol. The show also depicts
cartoon-style violence.
