Salt Lake City, UT - SLUG Magazine's Roughside of the Lens Presented By Monster Energy, Half and Half Skate Shop and Roughneck Hardware was held on Sept. 10, 2016. 

Fifteen teams participated in Salt Lake City’s first filming contest, based around teams of three skaters, a videographer and a photographer. Teams filmed in locations of their choosing from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. The footage is now being edited and judged. Winners will be announced at the screening on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the University of Utah’s Post Theater.
